Inspiring Love for the Arts
Note from Frances Socha:
I went to Southern Connecticut College and graduated with degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Art Education in 1974. Throughout my 45 years of teaching I integrated art whenever possible. I began my personal art journey by creating realistic art using acrylic paints. During our Lock Down period during the Covid Pandemic, I began experimenting with the use of watercolors, creating realistic and abstract paintings. Recently, I fell in love creating art using Fluid Pour Technique. I love the magic created when the paints interact with each other, forming cells and lacing.
Frances Socha Art Gallery was developed to share finished pieces of art from realistic to the abstract. The art was created through the use of watercolors or acrylics in the creation of landscapes, seascapes, and the abstract.
